Shipping & Delivery

Whilst every effort to deliver parcels within our delivery time frame, we cannot guarantee delivery times as these can change for reasons which are beyond our control.

Tracking is provided on all orders our delivery options include but are not limited to the following;

  • Australia Post Service  regular/express
  • DHL Express Local & International
  • Courier's Please for local Brisbane Metro

QME will not be liable for  any loss or damage, cost incurred due to late delivery

All orders will be processed within 2 business days – with the exception of back ordered items. If we are unable to meet this time frame we will contact you to provide details and options.

If we are unable to ship your order within 3 business days we will offer a refund in full or the option to wait for the goods to come into stock.

All orders must be paid for before your order is shipped.

Any orders received after 2pm Friday will be processed the following Monday Morning.

Returns

If for some reason you have a concern with your order, please make contact with us immediately so the matter can be resolved.

Products can be returned for exchange/store credit within 30 days of delivery, or a full refund within 7 days of delivery. Note that all returns are subject to a restocking/admin fee of 15%. Goods must be in new, unused condition and in original packaging. Goods will be inspected upon return and refunds or credit for exchange processed within 7 days.

Marine Electronics (including radios, chart plotters etc) are not returnable unless a manufacturing defect exists (as deemed by our technicians or supplier).

Special or custom order items, or items that have been customised, cut to a length or otherwise altered at the customer's request cannot be returned.

Return shipping charges shall be met by the purchaser.

After 30 days from Order shipment date, we can not process returns for exchange, replacement or credit to your account.

Original shipping fees are not refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

Items that can not be returned.

  • Items Registered to the User (eg., EPIRBs)
  • Custom order items
  • Specials/Sale/Clearance items
  • Any items which have been damaged due to improper installation or operation.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your personal information and the purpose of this policy is to ensure that we meet that commitment.

Your account information resides on a secure server, protected by firewalls and is accessible only by our webmaster.

We do not pass any information about you, our customer, to any other person or organisation.

Information we could potentially collect includes your name, company / trading name, physical & mailing address, email, telephone numbers,  payment and details of what you have purchased.

We will use this information to complete any enquiries about your transaction and to fulfil the purchase and/or transaction that you have requested. We may use this information to follow up after the transaction to ensure the transaction was completed to your satisfaction and if you wish to review our service.

We will take all reasonable steps to correct your personal information if we believe it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading or if you ask us to. If you ask us to correct your information we will do so within reasonable time.

Payment & Pricing

We accept payment by PayPal (1.5% surcharge), Visa, Mastercard or Amex (1% surcharge), bank deposit, ZIP (3.5% surcharge). Cash is acceptable for in-store purchases. All prices are quoted including GST and are subject to confirmation at the time of order acceptance. All Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

• Disclaimer: While we endeavor to keep information and product images at this Site constantly up to date, sometimes a product's details may be updated by the supplier at their discretion and we will not immediately informed. We reserve the right to update or correct information on the Site at any time without notice.

• In the event that a Product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, we have the right to refuse shipment of or cancel any Offer to Purchase for the Product. Where we become aware of any error or inaccuracy after acceptance of your Offer to Purchase, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of replacing your order at the correct price or cancelling your order for a refund. Where we cannot get in contact with you by close of the business day on which we become aware of the error, your order will be cancelled and refunded.

• We also reserve the right to correct these prices in the event that they are displayed incorrectly.

Dick from QME is one of the most knowledgeable guys for Furuno components in Qld. When you purchase this kind of equipment it is imperative that you have back up that you can depend on. This project was a combination of me mounting the Radar, Touchscreen & antenna running the cables for these items with the addition of a transducer which I ran the cable but left the placement to Dick. A quick phone call to Dick confirmed all placements of the equipment & final electrical connection was left to him. The bonus of working this way obviously was the saving in chargeable labour hours whilst still getting the peace of mind of Furuno,s full warranty. The sea trial was fantastic with a very concise explanation of the equipment installed & all shown in good working order naturally. This was stage 1 of 2 stages for me with Auto Pilot & 3D Transducer to come. I will be backI cannot recommend QME highly enough so do yourself a favour & have a crack, save yourself some money & go get the best.read more

Recently had a dual transducer install done by Richard and Harry from QME (an SS175HW and SS175L with their added custom spacers) and I couldn’t be happier, extremely professional and their workmanship immaculate. The performance is exceptional after Richard took the time to find the prime location to fit each transducer for ideal performance constantly holding the bottom at 40knots.And giving a super clear image through my Simrad EVO3 screens.Can’t recommend QME highly enoughread more
