Minn Kota Riptide Ulterra
Introducing the Riptide Ulterra, Minn Kota has revamped their line of Saltwater Trolling Motors to improve upon the already well built design. Featuring Auto Stow/Deploy and Power Trim, we can understand the excitement around this motor. The Saltwater Riptide Ulterra with i-Pilot is available in 80lb and 112lb with shaft lengths from 60″ to 72″. These features will cater for the off-shore angler who wants to hold onto those off-shore marks.
Riptide Ulterra models come standard with a special i-Pilot system that allows you to control Auto Stow/Deploy and Power Trim. The ingenious i-Pilot remote is easy to read and easy to use. Compact and watertight, it features a large LCD screen, ergonomic buttons and an easy-access battery compartment. Additionally it gives you instant feedback on active functions, speed, prop on/off, battery power and GPS signal strength. By actually letting you fish the i-Pilot remote uses GPS to lock onto fishing spots, record and retrace successful paths and more. Tell i-Pilot where you want to go and it will deliver you there automatically.
Ulterra i-Pilot systems feature a new Heading Sensor, which recognises changes in the boat’s heading due to wind and current, and communicates with the i-Pilot system to minimise boat swing for a more accurate, stronger hold. As a result you can now spend less time positioning your boat and more time setting the hook.
Re-invented Spot-Lock 
Spot-Lock keeps you on a fishing spot. With enhanced new hardware and software algorithms, Spot-Lock will hold you tighter to your fishing spot than ever before. Just choose your spot, and if you drift more than 1.5 metres away, i-Pilot will trigger your trolling motor to take you back. i-Pilot can remember up to six different spots, and the Spot-Lock Recall button can automatically take you back to any of them – from up to ½ kilometer away – at any time.
112lb of Grunt 
Stronger than ever, only a Minn Kota is available with 112 pounds of thrust (601622, 601624). Take to the water with improved control on the most powerful trolling motor so you can tackle heavy chop, wind, waves and more without so much as flinching.
Massive 72″ Shaft 
The Ulterra is available in a massive 72″ shaft. For offshore anglers in the larger boats, the 72″ model (601624) is the ultimate motor to hold you on your marks, even in rough conditions.
Auto Stow/Deploy and Power Trim
Nothing makes fishing easier than Riptide Ulterra. Auto Stow/Deploy lets you get your motor in and out of the water using the included i-Pilot Remote. Once your motor’s in the water the Power Trim feature lets you easily adjust the motor depth for changing conditions also using your remote.
