The all new Saltwater Riptide Terrova includes the all new category leading i-Pilot with Heading Sensor antenna, Bluetooth communication with a new larger screen remote, lift assist as well as a new look design. The new foot pedal with spot lock button is optional with this motor. Australia’s favourite Bow Mount motor just got even better!
The ingenious i-Pilot remote is easy to read and easy to use. Compact and watertight, it features a large LCD screen, ergonomic buttons and an easy-access battery compartment. Additionally it gives you instant feedback on active functions, speed, prop on/off, battery power and GPS signal strength. By actually letting you fish the i-Pilot remote uses GPS to lock onto fishing spots, record and retrace successful paths and more. Tell i-Pilot where you want to go and it will deliver you there automatically.
ST i-Pilot systems feature a new Heading Sensor, which recognises changes in the boat’s heading due to wind and current, and communicates with the i-Pilot system to minimise boat swing for a more accurate, stronger hold. As a result you can now spend less time positioning your boat and more time setting the hook.
Re-invented Spot-Lock 
Spot-Lock keeps you on a fishing spot. With enhanced new hardware and software algorithms, Spot-Lock will hold you tighter to your fishing spot than ever before. Just choose your spot, and if you drift more than 1.5 metres away, i-Pilot will trigger your trolling motor to take you back. i-Pilot can remember up to six different spots, and the Spot-Lock Recall button can automatically take you back to any of them – from up to ½ kilometer away – at any time.

A new Lift-Assist mechanism on the redesigned Riptide Terrova carries the weight of the motor for you to make stowing easier – so you can save your strength to reel in the big ones.
